What is the expected completion time of documents to be prepared?
In general, you should expect to receive the completed documents one week from the time you submit the requisite information to prepare the documents. If you have requested document preparation assistance for an Answer or other time-sensitive documents, you are required to stay the time sensitivity and deadline at the time of your initial request. We will make every effort to accommodate your deadline by prioritizing your documents. However, we accept no responsibility for any failure on your part to specifically state your deadline, nor do we accept any responsibility if the deadline does not allow for sufficient time to prepare your documents.
Why was I sent a questionnaire?
To prepare your documents, we email to you a questionnaire to be thoroughly completed after you have submitted your initial request and payment on our website. The questionnaire must be fully and thoroughly completed, even for questions which might not be applicable to you. Those must be marked with “N/A”. Document preparers are legally prohibited from adding, modifying or correcting any information that was not provided to us or that might have been omitted in the completion of the questionnaire. Therefore, it is your responsibility to adequately proofread the information being submitted to us.
What if I need corrections or revisions?
It is your responsibility to proofread, check facts, and spellings to ensure the documents are correct, as the document preparers are prohibited from making additions or corrections to the information you have provided. Should you find errors on our part, please contact us as soon as possible, and we shall revise the documents as appropriate and resend at no additional charge. Minor revisions are done at no additional charge; however, this request must be made within 30 days of the completion and return of the documents. After 30 days, any requests for revisions will be subject to additional charges. Therefore, you should peruse the documents for errors and omissions upon receipt. Legal document preparers working through this site shall not be held responsible for any mistakes, errors, or omissions in relation to the preparation of these documents.
How long will it take to repair my credit?
There is no definitive time-frame as to how long the credit repair process takes. The time will most likely depend on the number of derogatory items contained on the report as well as the kinds of derogatory items. While the credit bureaus must respond within 30 days and a response is typically received in about 45 days, the process can be lengthy. Depending on the state of the credit, it can take anywhere between 6 months to one year.
How will my documents be stored and protected?
We are under no obligation to store your documents. As a courtesy, we generally retain your documents for 60 days. After 60 days, all documents will be properly disposed of by shredding. All information provided to us is kept strictly confidential.
